WHY THE TWO NEEDLES?
WHY THE TWO NEEDLES?
Just an ordinary day filled with everyday conversations between me and my best friend, Sep 22, we were discussing the usual stuff when suddenly, I blurted out a thought that had been on my mind for a while: "You know, I really want to start selling skirts. People keep complimenting my skirts and asking where I get them." Like a true friend, she immediately jumped on board with a big YES.
As we continued talking, the conversation naturally flowed because our minds were in sync. We shared the same tastes, interests, and dreams. In the future we envisioned, we were two dancers, two sisters embarking on business trips that felt more like fun adventures together. These trips would involve scouring for fabrics and selling our products at dance events. One of us would handle sales while the other danced, and we'd switch roles seamlessly. When we discussed this dream, it brought us endless laughter and happiness – it just felt right. I knew deep down that this was what I was meant to do and now it's the right time to do.
With this vivid picture of my dance partner and me shaping our brand's future, I knew my logo had to reflect our unity, our twinnie-hoppers spirit in this venture.
When I stumbled upon the design of two needles intertwined with a thread, it clicked. It was us, the two sisters in perfect harmony, dancing and sewing together.
From the day I first shared my business idea to the moment I had the tailor create the first sample for the brand, it took less than a week. I'm usually a bit of a slowpoke, so when I move this swiftly, you can tell it's something I've been itching to do for the last 30 years.
I truly believe this is going to be something special, something cool...
